Before you start your renovation, you have to ask yourself a few questions to make sure the end result is your dream bathroom. Here's a wish-list to help kick start your planning.
In this article, we'll help you to collect all of your bathroom ideas in one place so that you can get more clarity with the type of bathroom you want to create. We've also created a "Downloadable Bathroom Planning Checklist" that you can use to help you plan your bathroom renovation.
Firstly, ask yourself the following:
- What design style are you drawn to? (e.g. minimalist, Scandi, classic)
- Have you determined your budget?
- Have you checked your calendar for the most convenient time of year to renovate?
- Have you considered a backup bathroom for while you renovate?
- Have you considered powder room needs as well as practical needs?
- How much space is there?
- Will you be extending your bathroom?
- Shower, bath or both?
- How much storage is required?
- Is there someone in the family who requires mobility support?
