Paint your home with Emerald, the 2013 colour of the year

International colour company Pantone named its colour of the year for 2013, and the title went to... Emerald!  This rich green colour is both lush and decadent. It's hard not to love this colour, as it makes a lasting impression as a paint choice on your walls, livens up any curtain design and creates vivid pops of colour in any accessory choice you make.
Matching other colours to emerald is easy. It works extremely well with simple white, so you'll have no problem finding accents to perfectly offset the rich hues of emerald coloured treasures.
If you'd like to incorporate the colour of 2013 into your design scheme, have a look at Resene Emerald Green wood stain or Resene Robin Hood. Resene Robin Hood is a traditional spruce blue based green; it has an honest and gallant association.  Try Resene Robin Hood with green gold odd-whites, sweet yellows or shadowy charcoals such as Resene Half Secrets, Resene Galliano or Resene Foundry.
