Removing the wall revealed extensive cabling that had to be rerouted, but the team efficiently adjusted the design to accommodate the changes. Also, delays in joinery and splashback production extended the timeline. The existing natural timber tones present in the space were a key consideration when choosing the colour scheme. A warm white was introduced together with brown tones in the benchtop, splashback and peninsula kickboard. When combined this design created a seamless connection between the kitchen and the home’s existing interior.

The kitchen renovation spanned 13 weeks, slightly longer than anticipated due to delays in material production. Despite these setbacks, the project remained on budget, with the homeowners opting for upgraded finishes that improved functionality and longevity.
