Do I need a building consent for a renovation project in Wellington?

If you will be making structural changes to your home or changes to its land-use, your project will likely require building consent and/or resource consent. The team at Refresh® can take care of all the necessary paperwork and ensure that your building work is fully compliant with all relevant local and regional regulations.

Wellington boasts many older, wooden houses as well as some Art Deco blocks and great examples of modern architecture. Some homes might be protected and require special building permits. We have completed numerous extensions, kitchen and bathroom renovations and general makeovers of all types of buildings. No project is too big or too small.
