Will Refresh take care of any required council permits?

Refresh will carry out your build according to the New Zealand building code and, should it require a building consent, Refresh can take care of the application process for you. Additions, alterations and projects which alter the structure of your home will require a building consent. Some plumbing and drainage work will also require consent. What materials are commonly used for home renovations in the North Shore?

Knowing what materials work well within your region’s climate and conditions is always a good place to start when approaching a renovation or build. North Shore homes commonly feature weatherboard and cedar exteriors, with brick and stone exteriors also being common.
